Oval menus engraved on 640 gsm cotton and set into hand-gathered antique lace collars — the table dressed before a single plate arrives.
The bride brought her grandmother's lace collar to the first meeting. We photographed it, traced the scallop, and cut an oval die that echoes its rhythm exactly.
Each menu is engraved without ink so the type reads only as shadow, then mounted by hand onto a gathered lace ruff — a slow job, four minutes per card, one hundred and twenty times.
Sage silk ribbon and a terracotta seal close the outer envelope so the whole suite arrives feeling like an heirloom already handled by someone who loved it.
