Mohairfur

Typewritten vows on torn cotton, stitched with gold thread and laid on deep terracotta mohair. An invitation you feel before you read.

Torn handmade paper card with typewriter text and a velvet heart on terracotta mohair

Forty guests, one long table, a house in the hills. The brief was warmth — literally. We lined every envelope with mohair offcuts from a Piedmont mill.

The text was struck on a 1962 Olivetti so no two impressions sit at the same depth. Where a key bit too hard we left the bruise in the sheet.

A velvet heart and a wandering gold thread finish each card; the thread is stitched, not glued, and the knot is left visible on the back.

We wanted the envelope to be as warm as the room it invited you into.
